‘Re-Loved’ was a chair exhibition that ran at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney during 2010 in which contributors had to ‘relove’ a chair that had been discarded or reached the end of its useful life.
We were invited to participate along with a group of architects, product, fabric and jewellery designers.
Our focus was on the names we give these objects, and we explored how their form could be a better expression of these names. We created a series of chairs: Lawn Chair, School Chair and High Chair.
These chairs are produced in limited edition as art objects.
